Business Development Manager


  • Minimum 12 to 15 years of experience in Business Development of software services
  • Communication skills, both written & oral must be of the highest standard.
  • Excellent presentation abilities
  • A thorough understanding of the software services industry and business and software development standards
  • Proven ability to sell services based on Microsoft technologies, representing a Microsoft Certified Partner
  • A self-motivated, go-getter with the ability to work remotely
  • Knowledge of software product development and processes is an added advantage
  • Demonstrable ability to create and grow business within healthcare, financial services verticals; experience in generating business for web & mobility platforms
  • Ability to achieve & exceed targets with an excellent grasp of financials relating to services & solution sales, ability to hit the ground running
  • Fluent with MS Office functions (PowerPoint, EXCEL & Word)
  • Ability to build a team and be a team player
  • Willing to travel extensively

Job Description:

  • Meet agreed targets for business development in software services & solutions
  • Cold call and email within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Establish organisation goals, short term and long-term budgets and develop business plans for achievement of agreed goals
  • Identify / create market opportunities and generate new business by consulting & customising end to end software solutions as per the needs and requirements of the clients
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
  • Contribute to and oversee the development of marketing collateral
  • Find, interact & co-ordinate with experts, vendors, etc. who might form an integral part of software solution ecosystem
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key corporate clients and channel partners in your territory
  • Build an achieving team to meet regional and national targets, as assigned
  • Prepare daily, weekly & monthly reports as well as make presentations to the company’s board and other third parties
